Vor drei Jahren war ich federführend an der Gründung der Food Coop Wienerwald beteiligt. Wir sind aktuell ca. 40 Haushalte, die gemeinschaftlich möglichst direkt beim Hersteller/der Herstellerin möglichst regionale Lebensmittel bestellen. Ich sehe unsere Foodcoop als vollen Erfolg, und auch wenn es Krisen gab, schlagen wir uns tapfer im Erlernen des solidarischen Handelns! Jenseits der Foodcoop bin ich Kräuter- und Heilpilz-Sammlerin und -Referentin, Hundeernährungsberaterin und (Buch-)Autorin.
"Gutes Essen für alle!"
Ich persönlich möchte mit der Foodcoop auch ein Zeichen setzen, bzw. viele große und kleine Zeichen, wie gut Lebensmittel sein können und wie wichtig es ist, hier einen hohen Anspruch zu haben.
Als Ernährungswissenschafterin und -ökologin stehen für mich Bewusstseinsbildung bzgl. der Auswirkungen unserer Nahrung auf Gesundheit und Klima ganz vorne, und natürlich die Solidarität mit den Bäuerinnen und Bauern. Denn die werden in der Debatte um gesunde Ernährung und um Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnisse oft übersehen.
Ich spreche mich für Kostenwahrheit aus, denn dann wären gesunde und nachhaltige Lebensmittel automatisch billiger. Und dann wären Krücken wie Foodcoops, die unter großem persönlichem Aufwand von ehrenamtlichen Laien selbst organisiert werden, nicht mehr nötig.
